Failed Urine Sample Pre-Employment

Well sir there's 2 things that will kill you in this industry.
1.a roll over
2.pissing positive for anything.

Now not going on your DAC may be true may not be true as I do not know when your DAC is created. However didn't you say they will do a 2nd test from the first sample? If that's the case you would still be positive. Just tell them to do a hair test that'll tell them the truth. I've gone a few rounds with piss tests in my day. I pissed positive for 5 minutes at a manufacturing job because the stupid line wouldn't come up finally it came up 5 minutes later. However the ones for drivers should be better tests. Your kinda Sol right now so to speak. You have tested positive that has to go on applications you can challenge everything however you have to be able to prove that you actually were negative at the time. My question is why a 2 week wait? My results are always in within 48 hours.

 

When you fill out another app it will ask if you have ever failed a pre-employment test. Don't know how it will effect a student, but an experienced driver would have to sign a release for prior companies to exchange that type of info.

 

Just do a complete new one if they won't let you then move on to another school there is plenty out there.

 

I would start over, I don't know how a new company can find out if it's not on DAC, maybe I'm wrong and others have better information. Apply with some more companies.

 

I don't know for sure, but I don't think that info can be put on a DAC report. Atleast under failed test.
That is why a driver has to sign a release for previous employers in the last 3 years.
Get your green book out and see what the FMCSA says.

How in the world does that happen? I've always been freaked out about that too,AND I'VE NEVER DONE DRUGS IN MY LIFE,but know the system sometimes fails us.
