I'm not so sure anything I saw of the laws that are being mentioned here even apply to you because you are not an employee or a driver, you might fall under the title of apprenticeship or internship.

It doesn't really matter because there a HIPA laws and Labor laws about medical information and they can't tell anyone without your written constant.

FMCSR Does allow positive test to be shared w/o a driver constant only if the test was conducted due to an accident. Which really doesn't matter because what ever police dept. it is doing the investigation will be more than happy to make the test results public record in your court case and then on your driving record.

That is why they appear on some DAC report. Because I questioned this the first time I seen it on a DAC.

A lot of labs are sloppy with tox screening. ALWAYS ask for a printout of the lab results and see what drug you are positive for. This is part of the federal law over the ownership of the results so if they give you any crap, tell them you are going to call the state and file a complaint of withholding medical records.

The cost for another test isn't anywhere $150, the lab costs for a 6 panel is something like $35.
