well they dont plan things out in advance that is for sure
they figure they will fix it with a swap
i been back and forth colton ca to flagstaff twice in 3 days because
i cant get to los lunas nm on time
but at least i am moving on holiday weekend
    so i been quiet

there is a reason why trip planners are behind closed doors

Amazing, ain't it. Some things just never change. Had the exact same problems when I worked there.

Sure enough they think a swap will fix everything. And a swap will fix things for them, but sometimes for the driver it makes it worse.

I found another hiring ad for Trans Am. It said that they paid T/A Practical Miles. What is that?

I don't know what T/A Practical Miles would be. My understanding is that practical miles are based on PCMiler and are normally the best routes for big trucks, mostly interstates. HHG miles are shortest routes but may not be the best or most timely because of small towns, lower speed limits, etc.. So are T/A Practical Miles a hybrid formula that TransAm has come up with? Curious......anyone else have any ideas what this is?

you look on tysons bills and there is a mileage point to point there also
that must be what transam is paid
then some accountant type figures how much the load gets
just like we really dont know if transam gets detention pay
i'm sure family dollar lowes bud pay for using our trailers as storage for days on end
fuel charge is always less then national avg
transam makes money off of everything they touch
i suppose that makes it smart buisness
