Understandable. Well I am looking to make a decent wage. Either way I didn't want to get a job making less than $15 an hour. And this will at least cover that or close to the equivalent. And its just driving which I liked at pepsi. Just got tired of all the unloading in the freezing winter and hot summers. Days could be brutal.

You should have stayed at Pepsi. You said you didnt like the physical work, but are gonna stay at Schneider till you get in better shape to join the military. Pepsi would get ya in shape, make better money, and you would sleep at home nightly. I'm confused LOL

if you get paid by the mile; 2000 x .34 = $680 minus lets say 15% for the taxman that leaves us with $578 minus medical/insurance etc etc ... probably around $500 a week ...

what do you consider not looking to work a ton of hours? If you mean no more than 14 a day then you're good

    6 days a week x 14 hr days @ $15 an hour = $1260

idk but it looks to me that you are going to be making less than $15 an hour ... but maybe I'm wrong ... I never have done that run; but I tell you sir it does not sound like a good deal

Well the math on the pay is right other than the couple stops a day extra would amount in an additional $150 per week. Which around $600 I would be fine with. Like I said before. This is honestly just a temp job for me. I was looking for something more local that didn't involve a whole bunch of unloading. You may consider around $600 a week not so great. But to me I am fine with it. This is just something to pass by 6 to 12 months of time until I can join the Air Force.

Who says I don't work hard? Because I don't like the current job I have. I enjoy driving a truck. And my current position doesn't allow very much of that. So therefore I was looking elsewhere. And I'm not looking for amazing pay. This is not a career job for me. I was just looking for advice on pay. And last I checked pretty much everyone on this forum drives a truck and sits on their rearend 90% of the time. So i found that pretty amusing myself.

I do agree that it does sound confusing. But I was just unhappy at Pepsi. Crazy long days with short driving and lifting 600-700 30lb cases all day. I workout on my own time now and enjoy it much better. Sounds confusing but it works for me. Just mostly wanted a driving job that I actually drive more than a couple miles at a time before I would stop to unload. I enjoy driving so I went with the most local I could find that I think would get me home the most. If that makes any sense. lol
