Here's another. This one was a DB4 at "medium quality" setting (848X480 pixels)

I run the 4sight dash cam sold at TA does night and day mode videos look perfect on the com puter and youtube. I love that I can set it to auto record starting over every 10min or w.e I want so it doesn't fill memory card only videos it doesn't delete are the one I lock memory card never is full (I upgraded to a 32 gig sdhc memory card with the auto record over thing been recording over a month and still not full and I'm saving videos. I love the motion detection so when parked it auto turns on and records for 10min and then shuts off if nothing more is going on. It picks up other trucks and people movement which is good incase someone backs it you it auto records by motion and caught it all!

At night, do the IR lights on the front bounce off the windshield back at it? It looks like white dots or reflections in the video. Just curious.

High and center. Best view of the road.

    YUP!

The only thing I would add that could warrant moving it to one side is when one piece of electronics interferes with another electrically. Sometimes it is their proximity to each other. Other than that, put it up as high as you can without getting blocked by your visor, and just to the right of the split if you have a split windshield.

And you want to avoid any problem areas in the windshield you always have bug smears, and the wiper or wipers don't cover well, unless you like to clean your winshield 30 times a day.

Petro and TA sells it for $99 and I mout mine about the middle of the windshield Center and it picked everything up left to right perfect and no the IR lights do not reflect of anything they don't even light up its infrared so invisable beams works great it does not have any issues with bugs smears for wipers looks right past it
