I dunno about honey dippers but our oilfield vac tanks had baffles in them....

Just blows my mind honestly...how awful for Volvo trying to get a new business up and running...

 

Yes it sure does take an idiot to roll a truck like this in perfect weather conditions. This truck only has a 2,300 gallon tank on it but I will say with such a short wheelbase it swayed quite a bit. This guy had a tanker endorsement so he should have known about the surge. There is no baffles in this tank and she was swaying a whole lot. When he got up on the drivers wheels he was pushing full throttle and sent us for a ride. Frame is twisted and cab is smashed a little so its a total loss. I will keep the tank and pump and throw onto another truck. Hazmat clean up is a killer. Septage flowed into a ditch then down to a culvert which ran under the road and dumped into a bigger creek. State board of health is forcing all this dug up and new dirt filled in. Some woods has to be ripped out also. Company is still saying $30,000 ball park. Not as bad as it could have been but horrible since I was just training a new driver. Makes me not want to hire drivers as this guy has 11 years of driving commercial.

Hey Volvo are you going to continue to try the septic business I take it?

Is that s masport or roper pump?

I would try to find an older r model, nice heavy rears will take a lot of sway out of that thing compared to air ride...

Still say that dudes a total reject and if I were you I would try to get that accident on his DAC and MVR....

So Cluck is on a cruise in the Carribean, and I just seen a report that a cruise ship had a fire of some sort this week.... Wonder if he was somehow involved lol. I've been giving him crap about that cruise for weeks. I'll laugh my butt off if it was his boat

 

I thought I heard it was out of Baltimore...so he is probably safe.
