This would make an excellent undercoat. Would also be great on a shop floor. The uses are almost endless. The only downside I can see is that it doesn't appear to come in clear form (looks like whiteish or flat black) and don't EVER get it on anything that may need to be painted in the future. Treat your boots/shoes and you will never track mud in the truck ever again. Check out the video. If you haven't seen it before, prepare to be amazed. http://www.ultraeverdrystore.com/
This stuff looks incredible

I checked out this stuff a few months ago. Thought about what it would be like having it coated to a vehicle then taking it into a wash. "What's wrong with your water????"
This stuff can be removed by salt though. So that idea is out the window. I think it can also be taken off with a good soap detergent. Would work well for keeping just water, mud, etc. off of things. Neat stuff. -
for what it cost, i'll let her rust! great stuff though!

$1700 for 5 gallons

That's the last stuff I would want on my shop floor. Instead of the water puddling, it would just spread out everywhere.
That was a really cool video. -
Looks like rain-x on steroids.
