Everybody cries and preaches to the choir here but when given a chance to justify your complaints you don't bother .
Here are the results of the recent request for comments .
If you can't be bothered to give reason to not have EOBR's don't come whining about them here . This is a good example why talks about drivers organizing to be effective is a joke .
FMCSA is collecting more comments . I guess you all will ignore it supporting ATA and carriers' claim that harassment and invasion are not issues . If they were thousands of drivers would be posting negative comments .

Perhaps it's time they start recognizing trucker's forums and stop by and give us a heads up. It's not so much a matter of participation but more of knowing it exists.
Thanks for the heads up.volvodriver01 Thanks this. -
it comes down to the new breed LIKEING there hands held and being told when they can and can't drive. and running against the clock.
i understand the old timers who drove till there eyes popped out. but i really prefer doing my job MY way. you all can argue all you want. but i don't see how the clock does a DARN thing for safety.snowblind and Down the road Thank this. -
OOIDA members brag about how effective OOIDA is . This is a kind of thing OOIDA should be sending out a Call To Action on and Overdrive magazine should be posting in their magazine . I quit reading Overdrive months ago when they kept promoting UShip and featuring articles on "Shipping Wars " .Roadmedic Thanks this.

There ya go complaining here . Did you post a comment on the FMCSA site ?

I'm not buying those numbers, after all this is our government that's posting those numbers.
SHO-TYME, snowblind, volvodriver01 and 4 others Thank this. -
And not giving us much time to comment.

How hard is it to notify OOIDA for a Call to Action....

Sorry can't comment I'm still on paper. All I can give the FMCSA is comments from other drivers and that'd do more harm than good because it didn't come straight from the horses mouth.
-
I posted mine. ooida should have filed long ago on constitutional grounds harassment is just an added reason.
I vote that lahood's head be removed and a search for his brain be started and then on to ferro. real turds on a punch bowl and don't forget the non driver they appointed to that board recently. Empty shelves would do more that any posted comments will.RickG Thanks this.
