miles for the week

Did end up with 3004 last week. Preplanned through the rest of the week already so hoping for some decent miles.

 

Forgive me I know this is about miles but can someone tell me how long you guys are out for at one time. OTR not regional.

 

Most time I am out three weeks out home on the fourth week, lately i've been staying out six or more weeks. This out i'll be out about 46 days day before going home for two days, coming back out. Out for two weeks back home for July 3rd,4th then back out for 6-8 weeks.

Staying out this amount of time isn't necessary but it works best for me. Some stay out ALOT longer than me at a time..

 

I'm regional but however from talking to a lot of other drivers the average is about 18-20 days. Normally 2 full weeks out and go home the third week on Thursday or Friday. Some do more some do less. The good thing with Millis is they let you pick your home time unlike some other carriers that only let you go home every 4 weeks or so. It all really depends on the individual and their personal situation.

 

If I didnt have a gf and a dog at home I probably would be on a similiar schedule.

 

so miles this week are not going to be good. been sitting at a TA with two other millis guys waiting on loads since yesterday at 1pm. good thing last week was awesome.

 

Sitting in Eau Claire WI. No loads available think there's about 5 of us in the area, looks like a sub 2000 mi. Week

Thank you guys for your responses to how long you are out. I was hoping for no more than two weeks out. Live near Binghamton NY anybody know if that's a good freight lane for them.

 

the feds are trying to lower the alcohol rate from .08 to .05 so people will be drinking less beer, sooooo less beer to haul
