sitting at KW in Middlesboro Ky geez my #### luck lol waited 12 hrs on wrecker yesterday

 

Sitting at a Love's dlv at 5am to Dollar General in South Boston VA. Was suppose to be there at 5am today. Dlv in Union NJ yesterday for what I was told was a open appt anytime before 1pm. It was a 1pm appt. Picked up at Dial in PA at 1445 with a 5am appt. Told dispatch it would be 12p today before I could make it. So they changed it to a 10am appt time, then a 9am appt time for tomorrow, then a 5am appt time for tomorrow. What a way to make 448 miles.

Got a level 3 in Maryland and a level 2 in Virginia today. Passed both.

 

Menards' in Kenosha has takin over 1st place on the worst Menards' store to deliver to list, just over took Richmond In.

sap that sucks. and slim they gave me that load first but then changed it to a walmart load from eau claire to gas city indy.

I'm right there with ya. I picked up in Eau Claire this morning and delivered to the Menards in Racine. 4hr 50 mins later they had me unloaded. Couldn't get home tonite either and only a whopping 1700 miles.

 

Well I made it home with 45 min. left, close to 5 hrs. to get unloaded then had to run back up to west allis and grab mondays load, left around 6 so traffic was all cleared up by the time I hit Chicago. miles for this week are unacceptable.

i think everyone has crap miles this week. lets blame it on memorial day. i think maybe the sales department was off the whole week so dispatch had nothing to give us.

 

I wanted to let everyone on here know that I no longer work for Millis. I wanted to go ahead and post this now because I know some on here already know this and I figured the rest should hear it from the horse's mouth.

Friday was my last day. I turned my truck in to Cartersville and went up the street for some wings for the last time in a while. (Man I'm going to miss those wings!) I left Millis on good terms, and I thanks my dispatchers for their help and opportunities. I start a local job doing city work and pulling wiggle wagons on Monday down in Macon, GA for Con-way Freight.

I wanted to put this out because I talk to a lot of new guys and guys looking at coming to Millis and I don't want anyone to think I left under bad terms. I still think Millis is an excellent place to get your CDL, and get experience. My long term goal was not to stay with Millis, but if I were looking to stay OTR or Regional, Millis would probably be where I would stay. I disagree with some of the decisions they are making recently (i.e. cameras and opti-idle) but the wheels were set in motion for me to leave before any of that started, so I can't say they are a reason for me to leave.
