Joe told us about the strip club trip then the one who drove got a DUI and was sent packing. Nothing like trucker stories!
Hey if you have no AC make them put you up at a hotel. Mine was out for 3 weeks and I stayed in hotels on nights like this. I fronted the stay and they reimbursed. get dispatch approval. May need to be motivating, but they'll do it.

Sitting in St. Paul for what is becoming my routine, last load before going home at Gerdau-Ameristeel. Gonna be a detention getting day! Some days they move, other days they lag... Got a newbie in front of me. First week on his own and it shows. I really feel bad for these guys when they get released on their own. Don't care how old they are you still see the "deer in the headlights" look. And then of course, when is Roehl gonna spend 10 bucks and at least give a driver a basic cheap CB to use. This guy walked all the way to the shipping office and back, no CB to check in. HELLO, this should be standard issue because it is NEEDED in many locations! But that doesn't make sense now does it, just like making us all have ratchet straps now because of one shipper in Texas.

 

In ellenhood for the night. OSU holler at me if your here still truck 7998 or a bearded dude with a yellow bob marley shirt is me. Relay load from here to jville drop yard since it drops there on the 3rd. Then probably a couple hours til they realize nothing to Orlando

Darlington SC pilot for the night. Just talked to another Roehl driver at the fuel island. I'm headed to appleton for Monday delivery. Hopefully I can swap trailers at the terminal for a newer one. I really don't want this one during the DOT extravaganza

 

Sitting in Gary, have a short run for the weekend, but it's a load and layover. Had s brand new trailer, had to wait for it to be unstacked was hoping to keep it for the blitz, but now I have an old clunker, may need to hide next week.

 

I would track you down and say hi but i kinda already ready for bed due to i am leaving gary at 3 am to go home.

 

Same here, not leaving that early, but didn't sleep well last night.
