I did not get a DUI and nor did I loose my CDL. I wreaked a car while drinking yes but was not charged or even ever above the blood level. I still have my CDL and I choose to come into the office so I could take better care of my family. So seems like your just a another steering wheel holder that wants to get paid for doing nothing and complain about doing any work.

here is why METROPOLITAN is a RIPOFF. RICK will tell you in orientation that they have no OWNER-OPS to preserve the amount of work/frieght you can get...BIGGEST WHITE LIE, they have a separate brokerage, that brokerage -the owner brags- makes more money. this is why you cant, will not ever gross over 30K per year no matter what.

cops tell me if you ever wreck drunk, the wait before the breath test will lower the BAC...

i guess you figured it out sitting behind a computer pays better than sitting in a truck stop for a day.
i have worked for 40 years straight my age is against me hope this never happens to you at 61. at least you get to go hame at 5 pm. and don't have to deal with the night crap. i wanted to drive to make a decent living not sit around in a rest area waiting for a load. maybe my dm was not that good. thank god i'm out of the loop now. at least i know how much is coming in now rather than leave it up to a dm. -
I'm thinking of going back out on the road again. I OTR with WEL Co for a few months but left for 2 reasons, 1- It seemed as time was going by I wasnt running as many miles. 2- I found being out for 4-5 weeks I was falling behind on my home maintenance. I'm looking for NE regional so I can get home more. So I'm looking at this company. Some of the posts here seem to not like Metro. Working with WEL had it's moments too. I sat most every weekend away from home, I'm thinking this way I could still get home. Any feed back would be helpful.

You went to work inside the office to take better care of your family..If they pay you office guys better than drivers thats no place to drive....

Does nobody have anything about this company?????
-
did they NOT just fire 10 ten year veterans that were the last of the NO FORCED DISPATCH CLUB??? they were the ones that got preferential treatment? NO ONE STAYED WITH THEM, COMPANY PROFIT WAS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANY DRIVER....GOOD TIMES FOR THE MANAGEMENT because there are way too many drivers in this industry.
