I wonder if that means that pieces of him went flying out while the bulk of him remained in the car...

Can't say I've ever seen a wreck look quite that bad.

Some days you're the windshield, other days you're the bug... literally!

And it'll still be the truck drivers fault in some weird absurd ungodly way they'll find a way to blame the 73 year old truck driver. Find something wrong vision was bad, truck was pulling, or the famous you should've taken the shoulder. I have had situations like this on 2 lanes before never once have I taken the shoulder when a car is coming head on for me in my lane, never will either. Sad situation but its a 2 lane don't pass until its 100% safe and you know its 100% safe if your unsure don't pass simple way this could've been avoided. Hope the drivers log was legal and everything checks out I'd hate to see a driver blamed for this fatality as it does not appear to be his fault at all.

Course we can't see where point of impact is either...almost looks like judging by the trail of coolant that the truck drover took the shoulder trying to avoid a collision but can't tell. Love the "Alcohol is not believed to be a factor" well does that mean this was another case of a 4 wheeler being in a hurry?

Don't think wearing a seat belt could have saved him.

Just goes to show the massive damage semis can do but ppl still continue not respecting them.Judging from this vehicle the driver killed may be unrecognizable and have a closed casket funeral.
