Thank God I'm on the same schedule as my trainers while I'm doing the finishing school. I have the weekend off because he has weekends off. 3 days of running from 8pm to 8am or longer has my tank empty, sleep schedule all screwed up. Gonna stay in a coma all weekend! Oh well, it'll be worth it in the long run...back to it Monday night.

This is the way we should all spend our days off. Lol -

we got a few blue last night, no way I was holding that though, bite your finger right off... the fish did make a good snack though at the wee hours of the night
Well normally saturdays is my day to hang with the boys as the ball and chain works at night. SO we all went off-roading today in my friends jeep. IT was nice to have the top down but man we got muddy... stupid of him to do it in a brand new truck but thats his problem LOL
this is how I spent the rest of the evening below. Made a ton of grilled chicken with my marinade I make... Best thing to eat while trying to lose the weight, I just freeze a lot of it so its always on hand for lunches and dinners, this way I know when its defrosted that I dont spend money getting junk Also finished my first week of insanity as well and even feel more energetic and healthier. The ball and chain although is a nazi that keeps pushing me but I guess its for the best... plus I dont mind seeing her in her short shorts and a sports bra while she does insanity with me as well (NO SQUONK IM NOT ADDING A PIC LMAO, had to say it)Attached Files:

160 hours total according to the trainee manual, would've been longer if I didn't already have my CDL with the endorsements. My line-haul manager set me up to do 70 hours at night with one trainer, 70 hours during the day with another trainer and 20 hours on a lay down turn to Atlanta with a 3rd trainer. He wants me to get a little of everything before they put me out there on my own. The Atlanta run is for practice through the hills and to learn how it goes when they put you to bed. I'm learning the paperwork "on-the-job". I like it so far, I've been a firefighter for the last 24 years and getting up at 2am to put out fires is not near as much fun as it used to be when I was in my 20's. Driving down the road is a lot less stressful and more relaxing than fightin' fires and savin' lives. I'm vacationing out from the fire department while I get my 30 days in @ YRC. If all goes well, I won't go back to the FD...I'll get my 30 days in, sign my retirement papers at the FD, put my pension in my back pocket and get to work on the 2nd one.
