My sentiments are exactly as yours. Good luck with the new gig and hoping to find something similar myself once August rolls around. Did you get your double endorsement prior or they letting you get it in a specific time frame once starting there?

 

Doubles endorsement is just a 20 question written test. Pretty easy. Very similar to the Combination test if I remember.

 

I've had all my endorsements except haz-mat. Got haz-mat about a year ago. Keep in mind, they will require doubles, haz-mat, and now tanker is required due to some new DOT rule, even though we don't pull tankers. At least it is at Con-way.

 

Thanks for the info, Con Way is the one company I am looking at so I will get on it and get all those endorsements before I even apply than. In my area they are hiring at 19/hr with 1 yr exp with O/T and home every day. No brainer there if I can get hired doing that. Right now I only have the basic combo/air break endorsments though.
