Walmart here I come!

thats a good move up from prvious employer.and a good resume builder if you leave. its better pay than the army but not much different. dont forget cameras in the truck, keep your seatbelt on no phone be punctual and you will do fine.

 

in reference to the army i meant the structure and chain, certanly not the pay.

 

No cameras in the one I tested in either and I asked about it too and was told there are no cameras in Walmart trucks. Wouldn't bother me anyways as I'll be happy to follow whatever policies they have. Should they offer me the opportunity to drive for them, which would be a privilege not just a job, then I would feel I owe it to them to do things the way they want them done. As it should be with any job (and especially like the military of which I served as well). If they did have cameras it might be a problem or a 'deal killer' for the type of driver who likes to do things his way.

 

Went very well, thought I was a ball of nerve-mush but they said they were impressed. Said as long as my background check comes back as it should (absolutely nothing to find) then I'll be called for the 'second interview'...so I'm just waiting to hear back. The waiting sucks! Thanks, I've never been so excited about anything in my life. They said I would hear back within 6 to 8 weeks...11 days down... I really hope they don't wait that long!
