So far I'm very glad I chose Schneider over the other companies I researched. Met some very nice Schneider drivers (and some narcissistic whiners / complainers that would never be happy no matter where they worked or how much they made)
Drove about 2,000 miles this week and coming off a reset in the morning.
Have had a few things that did not go perfectly (live load instead of pick up loaded when I was nearly out of hours, blown tires on a trailer, etc.) although nothing out of the ordinary (the pre-loaded trailer instead of live load right after that made up for it - it balances out)
Second week with Schneider - new driver

Keep up the good attitude and stay away from the debbie downers and you will be fine.

Money ok - equipment is solid and well maintained. What I like is the variety of assignments and schedules. Tanker assignment looks pretty decent, would be interested in hearing back from the drivers on the Division operation.

I had two short runs back to back - and that is what set me up for the 1,200 mile run!

I am going back to Schneider next week! I loved it there, and I am excited about going back. I left because I got an amazing job offer that even Schneider said I would be crazy not to take. But unfortunately, there is no longer any work for me at the small company I went to. I will miss them and I wish it could have worked out (the pay and hometime where FABULOUS). But going back to Schneider will be like going home again. I am happy you like it at Schneider too, BlueSparrow. Maybe we'll run across each other's paths at an OC somewhere (hiding from the whiners..... LOL)!
BlueSparrow Thanks this.
