Try Manatokan oilfield services out of Iron River Ab. Seen a posting not long ago. Decent pay, nice equipment and fairly flexible shifts.

Hey guys anyone know some good companies in Red Deer to work for that pay decent and allow you to be home most of the time? I've been working for a service company for a few years, frac now and not so crazy about leaving my wife behind for 15 days straight at the drop of a hat anymore. Just tired of always being gone. I like the idea of apprenticing on a picker truck if the starting wage is good. Open to pretty much anything though i really don't know many people here yet so it's hard to hear where the good companies are at. Thanks

Read though page 150, and the most recent one. Drove from Toronto to Surrey last week, to deliver a dump truck, but did not have chance to knock any door yet. Like west and will try me luck soon. Thanks for all insights here.

Don't get me wrong, they are very nice people, and the younger women are VERY attractive, as well as being friendly and polite. Just seems odd to me to go in there and be a VERY visible minority. For Victoria, that is an eye opener.
In other news, I have now completed about 8 Oilfield related tickets, and am starting to look for a decent job.
I am actively seeking a fly in, fly out Camp job. Something about 20-23 days in and 10-14 out. Very much looking forward to getting away from the wife for a while. Actually looking forward to getting a decent paycheque again, and getting out away from the coast for a bit.
Clean Class one, in shape, no baggage, all the common requested tickets, it should not take me too long I hope. -
You know before we hire anymore west coasters we should ask them who they voted for. J/K
