Even more fun is Im apparently getting sick enough that I just nearly blacked out sitting in the drivers' lounge waiting for the washing machine to finish. I think I mighy ask dispatch to let me sit for a day after I unload. I dont need to black out behind the wheel.

 

TransAm guy came again to my school (same dude) and I'm really liking this company a lot. Can recent grads get the t700 trucks? I know there older version but I like the style of it.

 

As a lease op, youre sure to get either a 700 or 680, depending on the term of the lease. New company drivers have a 50/50 shot of getting a 700 or a 660. Just depends on what trucks are available at the time. Eventually though, all the company drivers will be in 700s as they are slowly phasing out the 660s.

 

Yeah, as HB said, plenty of T700s still around. Easy to get one, less weekly payment also.

 

Its actually illegal to drive when your sick call your safety deptpartment.

 

Tell whoever happens to be on the other end of the freeform message you send that you are not feeling well, and dont feel safe to drive. I was driving at 4am in the morning a couple of mornings ago, and was extremely sleepy, and knew I was starting to exceed the safety limits, so I pulled over, and sent a message that said I was to sleepy to drive, and said It wasnt safe to do so. I told them I was going to take a short break. I ended up missing my appt time, and ran out my 14 hr clock, and nothing was ever said about it. When you tell them conditions arent safe to drive they have never said anything to me. Hope you feel better soon. Take a break, or do a 34.

I ended up oversleeping cause I missed my alarm. Only had a short drive to get to my receiver and I felt up to it so delivered. Mike was pretty understanding. Im now shut down at Johnson's Corner until tomorrow at least. A good meal, a hot bath, and lots of sleep will hopefully set me straight. Im done with toeing he line to unsafe that Ive been pushed to the last two weeks.

whats the speed set at on the lease trucks now.

when I turned my truck in when I had to go over seas it was set at 68. I know its not going to be that high and ill miss the speed lol.
