How do I disconnect the daytime running lamps on my 2005 9400i. They will turn on and off when parked with the engine running

there should be a relay for those, i would recommend changing the relay before disabling them, it could also be a circuit breaker if they are the auto reset style. Electrical problems can escalate very quickly you should always try to diagnose and repair the problem before you disable anything.
