for Christ sakes man! Look at the choices we had!
Here we go and Vote in Clark thinking it would be better for energy jobs, and they go and decide not to let the pipeline proceed. WTF??Where are all the jobs supposed to come from?

Guess we'll just have to ban anyone who voted haha.

Here is an O/O looking for fluid hauling work in the patch, currently working in Lloydminster area for last 2.5 years, you can PM me or post right here.
-
I didn't even know wat day the election was lol. Turns out i came home the day of but didn't even know until after the polls were closed

The Feds make the final decision. not Dizzy Chrissy.

Doesn't much matter what political party is in power, that pipeline will be a really hard sell, the residents of BC do not want it. The massive LNG projects are not facing any resistance from the people or the feds and the BC Libs are 100% behind those projects.
-
Good because I am hoping to get work on those projects. Lots of years of work available there once those get going.
-
Probably because you're from Leduc and there is nothing around. I've noticed the same in Red Deer. Next to nothing for wells within an hour radius. I don't care about working in the oilpatch specifically anymore. Did it for 8 years already. Im just looking for ideas of other opportunities. But obviously with my 2+ grand in bills a month i can't be just diving into something new assuming the pay will be good enogh

Just came across this on the "Canadian good and bad trucking companies" forum.
Any oilpatch people have any insight ?

Guess it's hiring season again in the patch.
What's the word on Precision Well Servicing? Coil, fluid and gas. Good outfit, good equipment? How do they pay, salary plus bonus, or pay by the hour? Heard they pay some of the best rates for completions, and their snubbers earn the best. Sounds good, any trade offs/downsides?
Heard good things already but just casting the net out there to see if anyone has other input...the good bad and ugly are all appreciated.
Stay safe people.
