Hello fellow US Xpressers. I wanted to give you guys an update. Things are going so far well for my wife and I two weeks into it. Our first full week will be 7,500 miles. Looking forward to that paycheck. They've had us going across the country. Seen some cool places and had a chance to try some Texas bbq. Yum.

We are in truck # so if you see us say hello.

I'm very happy to hear that you and your wife are enjoying yourself, however you should never ID yourself on this or any other web site.

Sounds like its all coming together for you. And, I agree with CDL. Some things don't need to be posted. Many safe miles to you guys.

Especially when you are claiming to have ran a ridiculous amount of miles within a weeks time. Ridiculous even for a team.

hopefully the miles stay up, but usually the high miles are the initial hook, then you get to spend a lot of time in truck stops or waiting on fedex freight loads as the mileage decreases.

That's how many miles we did. Do I expect to get that every week ? No. We probably got that much due to it being Memorial day weekend.

Stay positive. That is the most important ingredient to assure success. Avoid the groups of drivers at terminals and truck stops that do nothing but complain. In my limited experience, if you do listen to them, they will accidently tell you (somewhere in the first few minutes) how they suck at trucking. Avoid negativity. Teams who treat their FM like a human being can do very well at USX.

Not sure how giving out your truck number on here can hurt you unless you are slamming the company and being a jerk. You could always create a new account if you needed to get something off your chest. I include a link to our blog in my posts, never worried me.

They say four days but it is really up to your fleet manager. We took 8 days off once after being out about 10 weeks. The day you go home and the day you leave do not count.
