Running With Schneider!

I average about 3000 miles a week give or take. uhmm I make my biggest checks running to and back out of cali. Think it is where you go in cali that makes a difference. That is what I noticed anyway.

 

To finish where I left off. Now a lot of IC drivers probably wouldn't do or even consider what i just did. But here is how it worked out. Typically loads going into bad areas (no freight or cheap freight) you will find loads going there that pay high, now i had a plan going into ND coming out with a pretty good check for the week. But as mentioned above that plan fell through. So fortunately I found a very high paying load going from Cedar Rapids to PA close to home. Here is catch.. had to dead head 576 miles to get it. That's not recommended but when in a jam I will get it done because you can average the 2 loads together going in and coming out still make a great check and cover all expenses. Not my best but still good. Point is.. you can usually find something to keep you moving and profitable no matter where you go! Just to recap: from start of pay period to end of pay period I went from WA to PA total of 2 loads for the week and will still bring home good money. Hope this helps!

That I know of, Schneider doesn't promote there own agenda for schools. I believe you are fine with any school that has credentials. However, personally I would follow the steps that are outlined on their website -> http://schneiderjobs.com/company-drivers/driving-school-programs#findschool

When I started at SNI needed a refresher course. The school that i wanted to use (mainly because of location and price) was not listed on their site so I called and asked a recruiter and they said that the school I wanted to use was fine. They told me to apply when I was near to graduate/completing the course and that's what i did.
