A lot of different opinions on shifting techniques and applictions, which is a good thing. I went through a bunch of informative videos and some that were not so much. Anyway, I found this one that I was impressed with more so than others. Here ya go.

Notice he's shifting his brownie from 2nd to 3rd when going through the main box. 1-4 in the brownie for starting and final drive. It's a lost art but I don't miss it. So the boss comes up and says I got this truck out back, drive it across town to the shop, thanks. Walk over and open the door and your staring at 2 sticks in the Cab. Who's the driver now.

two stickers were alot of fun once they put some good power in front of them. then you could skip around and get it going. origanally they were put in trucks with 200-350 hp and you needed all them gears to keep it moving. my first truck was a 67 diamond t with a 220 cummins no turbo with 5 and 3 , run like hell going down hill and start downshifting on the slightest upgrade. with the increase of hp and torque today all them 200 rpm splits arent all that needed unless your off roading. i remember having alot of fun with that old truck ,but also i remember many days that were alot of work and you felt like you earned your keep at the end of the day. happy trails
