There are actually two things about this photo worth noting. Can anyone tell me what those two things are? How long do you think this guy has been a driver?

Haha...That must be some heavy lumber or something, doesn't even need edge protectors.

I've never pulled a skateboard ....... So maybe I'm missing something....... (Or maybe I'm not)...... Did we get a little too happy with the straps or is it something else that's wrong?

i only see no edge protectors. .. some might not like the straps outside the rub rail.. but that's personal preference.

Personal preference? Partner, what do you think the rub rail is there for? Very dangerous having straps on the outside of the rub rail. They can be sliced off in a split second and your load is as free as a bird. No serious flat bedder runs with the straps on the outside. I know it's the law in many jurisdictions. But you should gladly do it, law or not if you care at all about safety.

What I see is someone taking pictures instead of paying attention to his driving.
