I've had the same social security card since I was 15. My middle name is an initial on the card, but spelled out on my license and birth certificate. The birth certificate was originally used to get the SSN card, but back then the Administration use the initial versus the full spelling. Is this going to be an issue with company orientation? Thanks much for a response.
Your name on SSN card and license.

I wouldn't think so, but just in case, you may want to visit your local SSAdministration office and ask them. They MAY issue you a new card with your full name.

AGREED! I would get a new card with full name.
We had a couple drivers here that had an issue like that, and they were advised to get a new card. -
I CAN'T think of any reason it would matter, My SS Card only uses my middle initial instead of my full middle name. And that card is a replacement I got several years ago (about 1992 or so).

Both my husband and I have ran into issues regarding name difference from our ss card to our license but it involves more than just an initial instead of the full spelling of a middle name.
We lived in Texas moved back to PA and now have found out that since 9/11 greater restrictions have been placed at the federal level to transferring your license.
To transfer you must have your social security card and your birth certificate, with names that match, or an official document showing your name change as in the case of married women, and two proofs of residency such as utility bills, lease/rent/mortgage agreements.
I would definitely check with your local dmv to see if it is going to be an issue.
