Hey all,
I just started my TNT training last week and i must say i am enjoying the experience. My trainer is a pretty kool guy but can be a bit over paranoid and rude at times. Been to several states and about 3-4k miles so far for the first week. Still getting used to the shifting on these newer Freightliners(school had very old beatup trucks that ran at higher RPMs). Currently starting my 34 hour reset in Fort Wayne Truck plaza in Indiana. Id like to hear some of you guys's experiences as new drivers and what were some tips and suggestions you could pass on to a new driver.
Well im off to check out the plaza, see you all on the road.

I got my start the first time in jan 2008 the best advise I can give is listen to your trainer and try to understand the paranoia that he has.
jonny illuminati Thanks this. -
He's probably jest a lil' skittish with someone else behind the wheel. Treat him gently, and try not to slam the brakes on!

However, when you need help in TnT, there's nothin' like wakin' the poor ol' boy out of a sound sleep. "Hey, I got a problem!!!" The expression on your trainers face will be priceless!
