8 trips to your home cost almost $4,000 each but every one after that only costs $500??? How does that even BEGIN to make sense???

And since when do abused wives or abused children have to PAY for calling the police for help??? If you've never been there, you don't know why they stay so that argument is moot.

I think this is ridiculous. How long until someone dies for fear of incurring a HUGE bill by calling the police???!!!!!

The first 8 trips are free, after that they charge you. Domestic violence is one of the excluded calls. They are charging for the alcohol/drug related trips, the disturbing the peace kind of calls.

I think it is great. I sure don't want the cops always coming into my neighborhood, have these neighbors shape up or ship out.
