WHat does YRC start new hires out per mile? Do you hook your sets or do they have a yard switch man who does this? also what type of hotel/ motels do they set you guys up in? Complete dumps or something thats decent like a holiday inn? thanks for any help

Line-haul started me out at 51 for van/single trailer and 52 for doubles(stupid I know) the hubs and distribution centers will already have your trucks hooked and ready to go. At some small terminals you may have to hook your own or at certain times they got the switchers who will hook then for you. Although some terminals will have switchers but won't hook for you. The hotels I've stayed at were nice, had pools, gyms, restaurants and wifi as well. I didn't lay over much as all the 30+ year guys want the layovers for some odd reason so I got a majority of turns
