Wheat looks really good around here, but its probably 3-4 weeks out still,at least. We have had so much moisture that its still purty green. Been steady here hauling, not super busy, but decent.
Hows your family, hope all is well. Feel really bad for the Oklahoma folks, man they have been hit hard. Anybody heard from Big John or highside lately, hope they are ok.bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
Big John is out of Enid. You're right haven't heard from him in long time. Could be he's doing something besides hoppers now.

Wheat harvest is just about here...maybe next week. Thinking there's going to be some long lines and long days. The only thing moving right now is corn to the feedlots.

Hello
Does anyone have an idea of how to get the blackish grayish rings off of a white hopper bottom? I think this is caused by the salt and chloride from winter roads. I just purchased this trailer and started hauling grain and have noticed this over the tridums and at the front of the trailer where the tire spray would be. I was told by one person to use iron out. Anybody got any other ideas or is that the way to go.
Thanks Terrance -
Some truck washes use orange citrus solution on hoppers. Others use acid but it's hard on the trailer. Never heard of using iron out so can't comment if it works.

Corn and beans around ally of MN is really suffering from heat and lack of moisture.
Guys are making corn silage now while there is still some moisture in the plant.
