Got flack for coming down Monteagle today at the speed limit.
Ol' Boy at the bottom was a wonderful example of why you do....
MM 149 he finally stopped with flames coming off his trailer right front brakes.
Monteagle claims another one today.....

Not all trucks have jake brakes.
One company years ago, the jake would only work while you had the brake on.airforcetoo Thanks this. -
East side of i24 in Tennessee I do believe
Never mind. Drifter beat me to it -
If you don't have a jake I'm assuming you should know not to go down Monteagle in anything above 6th or 7th at the most, in a 10 speed truck anyway. Not sure what the gears would be on a different transmission.
