I have A load next week going to the Costco DC in Monroe Township,NJ. I have an early morning unload and I was told you cannot park at the DC overnight. Coming from PA on I 80. I thought of going to the TA in Columbia,NJ but other drivers tell me it fills up just after noon! Any suggestions no more than 2 to 2.5 hours away? I might be able to get to NJ by 4 pm. Rest area would be ok. This is my first time with a load that far east. A little nervous about parking. Thanks , any help appreciated.

If you take exit 4 towards towaards 46 about 4-5 miles down there is a gas station theres parking usually has a few spots open. Gas station is called u.S. gas I believe. Also theres 2 reat areas after exit 4 so you can grab a spot they start filling up around sunset

You could go to the Petro in Bordentown, or hit one of the service plazas on the NJTP

going down 31 from 80 (via 46) has a few small truck stops that i have seen
you can always use the turnpike rest areas
the wonders of elogs never amaze me -
If your coming across I80 i would come down RT209 onto 33 South in pa then onto I78 East run that east for about 13 miles and theirs a pilot and TA at exit 7. Then you can get back on I78 east for about 56 miles to I287 South and run that down to RT1 onto RT130 right into Monroe TWP i go to Monroe TWP every week there is no toll going down 1 and 130 just a few lights good luck
Jrdude5 Thanks this. -
There's a walmart off exit 2 on 287 that I've parked at more than once. I called them before the first time I ever went in there they said long as you park out of the way of customer parking you're good.

Molly Pitcher Service Plaza (Sunoco), NJTP, MM 72 NB, L, Cranbury, NJ 609-395-1947 (Roy Rogers, Nathan's, Dick Clark's, AB Grill) is about 3 or 4 miles from Monroe TWP on the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) and it has a large parking area. That's where I'd go.

just use the t/a reserved parking, it will cost 10 to 14 bucks and youll have a parking spot waiting for ya

Bruce,
I'd follow the advice already given to get you closer to your delivery, but if you're coming in on I80 the TA in Columbia is an OK option. Whoever told you it fills up by noon doesn't know what they're talking about. I've parked there many a time, and more than once well after dark. That lot is pretty good-sized. -
TA in Columbia is a nice big lot. Sure it fills up...but not at noon. You should be ok
