    parr3, in cdl school we learned on volvo 10 spds, how much difference in the pete 13 spds, and do they understand if you still grind a gear or two.

    Anybody got a half dozen years in this "best company" Its odvious TMC does not have an business plan after the Cimmeran,south ports,whatever,control freak flop.Remember JB going flatbed then specilized fbed,Schnider flatbed and Builders cheap.TMC aint been anything worthwhile for 18 years.Let alone the chrome thang.TMC changed completely when it strayed from KW/Ravens.Down the tubes they went,Along with the old Ravens.Spend alot of money and complaine about it.Those old tales are true my friends.998 let alone 08 TMC don't hold a candle even near to the TMC the was the competition.If you want go to a school and make money I suggest nuclear engineering.Thanks for making steelhauling a run of the mill,nonskilled trade,TMC,JB,BT,Schnider

    Mcleroy,I to learned on a 10 speed in school,and forget everything you learned on shifting lol,the 1st day I did grind some not on the up shift but the down shift,on the up shift your rpm's only need to get to 1000.and when you down shift most gears only a 200 rpm rev more except going from 5 low to 4th gear there u need 300 more rpms and it needs to be under 900 to do that.



    eck..... I hear you it made my eyes cross when i tried to read it well i got to wait to do my check call i dont understand that but i just do it

    So? what is the flavor today?OOPPS did I speell Is like it is practiced in english?It depends on wht Is-Is?What about hearing fom somebody who has some real life experience here?Come-Onn!Men in black,How does the future look?Does the same old song work anymore?I thought not.Please Validate about how it was back in the day(pre 1989).This is a great place and it needs two be said.The Newins are oblivious to anything not related to internet.Take-It or Leave-It!

    Does anyone else understand this last post? I think this guy is why truckers get a bad name.

    Two more days and I finish TMC orientation, already been assigned my training fleet manager. I have to say orientation has been pretty close to how it was described on this website.

    Thanks to all who answered my questions, really glad I made the decision to join TMC

    I'll be starting w/TMC Monday Feb. 11th in SC. I am looking forward to it. The company seems to have things going in the right directions unless of course you don't like peterbilts and are too stupid to spell and speak correctly, then the company sucks.
