So I finally found a new fridge for the KW W900.
The stupid stealership wanted $607 plus $75 shipping (best deal I could get) on a Waco (sp?) fridge.

So...I looked around and found a web site that sells a better model fridge at a much better price:

    http://www.gotruckstop.com/cgi-bin/acart/apple-search.pl?&action=viewprod&id=1305161349

$499 delivered and they will actually install the OEM connector on it if you tell them.

(the mark on the front is only a reflection of some stuff on the concrete)
I actually got an upgraded model cause the TF-49 was out of stock....no additional cost.
This fridge opens with the hinge on the left and the last truck I was in, was opposite.

Anyone have any thoughts on which side might work better BEFORE i install this thing?

My rig never had a fridge but came with the mounting at least-

im not sure if it really matters what side it opens from...the one in my truck opens with the hinge on the right side. does this one come with a way to lock the door closed?

Yea...just shut it! - It automatically latches locked.
The release is the center pull up/out lever you can see in the 1st photo.
It's kinda nice instead of having to finagle that little curved lock piece.

The door is reversible and seems easy enough to swap too..

    #### $499.00 that is freaking expensive, you should of gone to sears , they have a kenmore for $130.00 its about 3feet tall for extra $30.00 you get 3 year warranty. It fit perfect in my t660.

    12v ?
I dont want or need 110v.

Got a link to share? I'd be interested....
3' tall is too big to go where it belongs in a W900.
22" tall and about 16" wide is the size needed.

But I Dont want a dorm fridge tho....they never last and returning them is a pain...

Fridge for my truck approx. $1800

It switches over to 120ac when generator is running otherwise runs on 12-24 dc. Has door light but the best part is the large freezer.
    Also it's 5' tall.
Last year when the other one went out, I thought about putting two smaller ones in but then wouldn't be able to get gallons of ice cream in.

If you bunk is like my 86" aerocab and the fridge is on the floor on the passenger side under the bottom shelf, if it is hinged right, it will hit the edge of the bunk and the shelving on the door will partially block the opening for larger items, hinged left it will swing completely open, not a problem in my world but a guy I work with claims that repeated swinging opening "all the way" sprung the hinges and now it does not seal very good.
