IMO K40 works for me thats all i ever had

Wilson 2000. There a bit easy to tune and take quite a beating especially in ice storms and tree limbs.

A 5 ft. or 5 1/2 ft. Francis pre tuned fiberglass antenna. About $21.00 at a shop. Set it and forget it. If you break it, buy another one.

thats funny bc I bought so many of those,HHG driver (bedbugger) and darn trees in some of these subdivisions played u know what on my antennas... Seemed I needed a new one every other month!

mount 2 glass insulators on your roof at least 109 inches apart, use a hand would balum and a external antenna tuner, a 3 port circulator, port 1 to the radio, port 2 to the balum and port 3 to a mag-mount with a 6' francis mazor antenna.
