Worst Showers

So far, Pilot has been OK. Nothing special, but not the worst. I agree, most TAs are crap. FlyingJ has
great convenience stores but crappy showers.

 

Were the T/A showers really that bad when this poll was created in '06?

I think they are probably the best on the road.

Showers at Hess/Wilcos are hit and miss... Skippers, VA (95) and Graniteville SC (26) are both new facilities and nice overall. However, St. Mary's GA, St Georges SC, and Valdosta GA (Horrible!!) are all in need of a major facelift and mold remediation!!

 

Wilco is good for 2 things--good fuel you can count on at a reasonable price--and DUNKIN DONUTS COFFEE!--Gotta have your priorities straight!

Actually, Graniteville is exit 11 on I-20. Sure it was just a typo....I stop at this location often for DD coffee! There is a Wilco/Hess on I-26 at exit 82 (Prosperity, SC). Never showered there, though....

 

They're all good when compared to a certain co whose name starts with an S , ends with a T and has
wif in between) terminal showers.

Seriously , I'd rather pay 10 bucks than take a " free " one at one of those dumps.

I ate in the restaurant once. Couldn't help but notice everyone was staring at me as if I was some alien. Takes a lot to wierd me out but that did it. Nowadays I just stretch it to Chiricah Summit. Plenty of parking there.

You showered there? Who did you piss off?

 

I did not. I took one look at them & I walked across the street to Valero & used some wet wipes. I wanted to use the laundry but some toothless woman with a 2 liter of Mountain Dew had them filled. :/.
