Likewise, after 5 pages of reading his comments.....
Something that was said to me 20+ years ago...
"The maximum effective range of an excuse is ZERO!"......
And he sure seems to have a lot of them.
It didn't work out for me the first time. Will it workout if I try again?

A lot of people new to trucking need to realize it truly is a lifestyle more than a job, & a lot of people are not cut out for it!

As for your OTR career, move to Texas and get on with a company that hauls cattle. At least the rolling stockyard will match the smell of your posts on this thread.HotH2o, MNdriver, Gunner710 and 1 other person Thank this. -
30 years ago you could get away with having more than one CDL.
It hasn't been 30 years ago since 1983.
Besides my point was that an impatient and inexperienced driver doing local work in the northeast isn't the best idea.Gunner710 Thanks this. -
I have met many, MANY people in my travels over my 45 years on earth. And over that time, I have met a few like this individual. And its always the same story, its always the other persons fault. Its never EVER their fault.
They have so many excuses its amazing to just listen to them speak. They flop around from one job to the next, NEVER HAPPY, ALWAYS POINTING THE FINGER AT SOMETHING OTHER THEN THEMSELVES, NEVER WANTING TO TAKE RESPONSIBLITY FOR THEIR OWN IGNORANT ACTIONS.
See, its like this kid. Listen closely. Trucking is a way of life. I don't care if its local or not. Local drivers work in excess of 12 hours a day often. Your life is centered around trucking, not the other way. Crying because you have to eat whatever once or twice and crying about it is comical. MANY PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD WOULD BE HAPPY TO JUST HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT.
I guarantee this individual will not be in trucking for long, if at all. Trucking eats people like this up. He's already done, he just doesn't know it yet.Tonythetruckerdude and Gunner710 Thank this. -
