that kinda stuff happened to me when I was with them before I left to go over seas. just need to stay on your DM. IF your company there is little you can do. if your lease you can do a swap. I had many loads which I took to the receiver and then had a company driver that was low on hours to come a sit on it. I got payed for all the miles. kinda crappy for the company driver that didn't. there are always ways around things if you show your a push over youll get the ##### loads. but don't turn down a lot of loads.

you have to know when to hold it and know when to fold.

t minus 3 days till I able to pick up my truck and get back on the road.

 

I love my DM. Finally got to meet her, my fleet managet and one of the other guys in the trio face to face yesterday. Meg knows Ive had a really crappy past two weeks and we were laughing about my rotten luck yesterday. And surprise, surprise. Im typing this from a Kenworth drivers lounge. The 7-way plug/port on my truck got btokrn again, this time it was my fault though. I had a couple tight spots to turn around and the trailer punched the port again. But it is considered warranty wotk on the 680 because of design flaw. My DM knows how to throw a dog a bone though. Ive got a PP for a Florida run sitting on me as long as I dont get stuck in KW too long.

 

im from FL and love the runs down this way. And you just missed the storm wasn't that bad for no one likes driven in the rain.

I know how bad weeks go I had a break down for a week my fuel tanks had some thing go wrong in my 700.

I got to meet my DM before I even got to see my truck lol. Im going to try like hell to get my old DM back. I loved her we where on the same page about every thing if I wanted to run anywhere I got a load there.

 

I started in Olathe, got my truck in Olathe, and was assigned a Rockwall DM. Go figure. But nw that Meg has filled Sandy's spot Im really happy with her. And Penny has been awesome as the fleet manager. Who did you have before? Meg and Penny are great about getting me FL runs when I ask for them or they think I could use the pick-me-up.

 

I tryed to readjust a couple of appts. and I got told on by the receiver and my DM chewed on me. She said we are only allowed to use the phone numbers of shippers and receivers to get directions, or ask about parking if your going to run out of hrs, and not to be asking about early pick-up or delivery. LOL I still do it though if I think it will help me out any.

 

sometimes I go in and say the dispatcher said I could come early
I look stupid they feel sorry for me and away we go

the looking stupid part is always easy for me
then you learn you cant manipulate walmarts
or most of the food service DC's

but I got unloaded 3 hours early at Premio foods in hawthorne Nj yesterday
and missed rush hour then loaded Arizona tea 9 hours early to escape nj

 

I had sandy. Is she no longer there???? And I was on penny's training fleet when she started lol. I want to be based out of rockwall

 

sandy is gone I heard her father was sick and she needed to move to be near him
but that could be driver lounge BS
Penny seems to be well liked by any drivers you talk too
