Good luck finding trucking jobs in Kerrville. I was raised there. Only thing I ever seen there was those moving van companies right off Sidney Baker. I knew I had to move to the Big city to get my trucking Career started. May find a few companies out of San Antonio that hire in that area.

I moved to kerrville last year because my in laws live there and I wanted my wife to be near them during their senior years. When I am on the road she keeps busy with them and is not sitting at home alone. I like living there. I wasn't looking for a local job when we moved there, but at times I wouldn't mind something regional.

Holycow, you live up there where you can just snatch a turkey out of the sky. I have done a lot of trout fishing up in your neck of the woods. Gods country in my book

You certainly were wise to inform the new uninformed readers to not take anything on here personal. lol
May I add that some sour puss attitudes on here do not represent the majority and if you are here to learn about FRE you will get only a very small percentage of opinions some good some not as rosie so just remember its a trucking company and like all trucking companies some are thankful for the job and some wouldn't be thankful wherever they work. There are issues wherever you work and its up to each individual to make it work for them.
There are some good people here on this thread,in fact the majority and occasionally we all vent but that does not always represent our true opinion.
Holy cow is right about the fun we have on here but if you're thin skinned beware.lol We can be merciless but its all in fun.
    PS: I'm the peacemaker

We looked at Mountain Home before we went to Kerrville. We like the Ozarks and could retire there some day.
