General flatbed vs glass division

    I know the glass division pays more cpm but in the long run what division would probably make more money? I'm already planning on staying out 2 weeks at a time so that's not an issue. I've heard that regular flatbed makes more because of less sitting waiting, then I've heard glass makes more... Does anyone know the averages, someone that's maybe done both?

    I've done both...but the glass was when it was still Schneider Specialized.

    You can make more in glass, but you'll work your ### off for it...and you'd do better staying out at least 4 weeks so they don't have to worry about which direction they are sending you.

    The waiting...seems to me that both divisions get their fair share of that.

    Glass is a lot of work, much more than steel...
