I have always wondered about walmart. Why is it that I never see them hiring? Is the pay that good?

They never hire because no one quits they usually stay until they retire. The pay is more then frito lay with much less work. They have drivers making over 120k a year, also if you make it into their 3 million miler club you get your own truck. They have alot of information on the thread on here or you can google wal-mart 3since million miler club and it'll give you pictures of the trucks and more info.

Anybody got a list of DC locations for Frito Lay? Any In Harrisburg Pa area?
-
I don't know if any DCs in that area have a traffic center, I can only see plants. Usually DCs with Class A trucks are only in large cities. I'm sure Philly would have some trucks but that's not exactly close for you.
Here's where you can find places near you that hire:

my dad worked for them after my grandad retired from them . My dad was there for like 20 years until they shut the plant down in Jackson Miss. He loved the company and i liked ridin with him otr. That is the reason i became a driver. But all in all was a good company, still get free chips from time to time. Good luck

I can find out for you if you'd like I work in one of their DC's. You'd be better off going to on of the plants because not all the DC's are like mine where we have trailer trucks that are based out of them. You may want look for a frito lay P.E.C (product exchange center) they would have more trailer trucks coming out of them. The only problem is that the drivers that have those jobs are not going anywhere anytime soon, they are extremely well paid, have great benefits and are home every night. Also, frito lay is starting their GES systems in all of their plants and are starting to close down DC's so I wouldn't suggest going to one.jlkklj777 and airforcetoo Thank this. -
Been quiet awhile since I been on here, thought I would update everyone on whats goin own
After 3 1/2 years and 7 applications and 4 interviews with Frito Lay looks like I may be getting a job there for a
OTR position,I received a phone call said they were pleased with my interview and were sending off for past employment verification and background check, aft that would do a physical and drug test. -
Good luck Perterbilt man, Frito is the kind of job you will work till you retire. It may be tough for a while but eventually you will really like it. I have many fond memories of my years at Frito.
Peterbiltman Thanks this.
