Since you have been off the road so long you might have to take a refresher course or find a local job for a short time.

yea i could get around that, i have owner operators that will verify employment lol. The question is with those 2 moving violations u think insurance will take me. Really its just one that unsafe operation of vehicle is a over
    weigh ticket

Many companies will frown on unsafe operation of vehicle. You can t blame them either. Someone operating their equipment with their name on it and 75ft long and up to 80,000lbs endangering the public, their family members, and their customers. Speeding under 10mph won t hurt. Some companies frown 15 over, some at even 11 over the limit. As far as defective headlight and defective tires, was that in your personal vehicle or commercial vehicle? Those two seem like fix it tickets to me, just have them repaired and show the receipts to court and they usually take them off

I would wait to apply until the unsafe driving and speeding tickets drop off your record. The lights are not a big issue. The tires are a bit more of concern, but not too much of a problem for a carrier. All of these do tell potential employers that you may be careless. Waiting for the tickets to drop off would make it easier to find a position. Some carriers only allow 2 or 3 tickets within a 3 year period.
