Hi Everybody

    I've been lurking here a while and thought I ought to get around to introducing myself.
    I'm Dave from central Cal and I'll be starting CDL training tomorrow in Sacramento. 54, Single with no kids and not much of a social circle.
    My plan is to look for local work first. I know, most companies want experience, but I'm going to start with the locals and if that doesn't work, I'll move on to the otr companies.
    Maybe I'll do some ag hauling first if I can't find a more permanent local gig.
    This is a great forum and has given me loads of useful information.

    And probably a heck of a lot of useless information too.

    But welcome to the asylum, there is a section somewhere in here for students, and also some good info on companies when you are looking for a job.
    We moved to a different state last year and have used the 'good and bad companies' info many many times since then, its been great!
