So why won't the mother tell them where the heck the truck is???? Why do people shelter losers like this??? The people just want their darn truck back!!

Mother says son has "personal issues". Is that PC for DRUG problems?

What could he possible do with that load. I can understand if it was a load of copper or something similiar, but food..... how do you get rid of a tractor trailer load of food so rapidly? He'd have to get rid of it lest it spoil, or keep on refueling the reefer unit...... which would have pin pointed to his location by now.... so he had to sale it right? Or just left it all to ruin? And no matter what the food is, I'm more than sure it's going to eventually start to stink..... and that too would pin point the location....... but..... WTH?!
I can't even fathom this.....

if they mismanaged his pay, i would say he sold the load for that amount. another version of take home pay maybe.

Well, sometimes there are disagreements, and sometimes...people that are less than above board play the victim when a driver strikes back after being screwed, but without knowing the story, there is no way to tell....but I bet there is another side of the story.....if he was waiting on a ticket to go home, he left the truck for one reason or another. Could need repairs, could be pay, could be out of service by DOT (and don't act like OUR law enforcement would know what the other branches are doing)
I do know there are small companies and individuals (DAN POST TRUCKING) that screws every driver that ever works there, which is why they never stay long. Let's face it, to many operations want you to drive equipment that needs work, tires, etc. or wants to hold back on your pay, basically operating on the drivers held back wages.....those guys should all be out of business.
