I just stopped by the Indy terminal for CT. The terminal manager seemed like an OK guy. He told me they only need 3 mos. experience to put you on a local P and D run. Can anyone confirm or deny?

 

I thought CT was owned by PAM or some such. I had to haul one of their trailers a few miles out of a terminal for another driver to pick up, GA to cali....I wouldn't want to haul that saggy pile of crap around the block let alone 2,000 miles to cali of all places.

 

from what I understand, pam is a separate truckload carrier, although still owned by the shady moroun empire. I would keep looking, their equipment is horrible, from what I understand.

 

Yes CT equipment is garbage..I've seen 30 year old cabovers from mexico in Laredo that were in better shape. And I don't think any of their stuff has ever seen a truck wash...probably without all the grease and dirt holding them together they would just fall apart.

 

They are getting better, in my area atleast.
