Need more info, Assuming the radiator, water pump, head gasket, CAC and all its plumbing are ok(MBNs are notorious for heat problems) Are the sensor wires/connections good? How about waste-gate line is it pinched off? Leaking? Is the waste-gate itself functioning correctly/at all? I think there is more than 1 problem here, water-pump or turbo (or both, sorry) CAC might be leaking also. After you get this fixed contact Mr. Haney on this forum, he will fix you right up, 90% of the problems with MBNs are ECM related.

Probably coolant related. Thermostat? Sensor? Fan not working

Well sorry to hear what's going on with yours. I have an 03 that I had changed from mbn to 7Cz from mr Haney and absolutely love it. So that will solve the disappointing views you have of the mbn once you get your issues solved. Send Mr Haney a pm and he may can help with your problem then help you with a tune. He is great

The code 25 can be related to a number of things. A broken wire in the harness can cause it as much as a bad sensor.
The other thing is the MBN has an electronic wastegate system for the turbocharger. This can be causing you some issues also. Is the wastegate hose pinched off or blocked under the turbo? These engines will go into a boost derate if the intake manifold pressure goes above 31psi. A disabled or malfunctioning wastegate could be causing the issue also.
The sloution to the power fuel mileage, the extra heat and lack of power is to upgrade the file in the ECM.cetanediesel Thanks this. -
Yeh Kurt, I have your phone number, but first I need know everything is ok with engine.

It's my first trip on this truck, from NJ to TX. So, before trip I was in shop, mechanic check engine by computer, so, first injector was not Ok(replaced), boost sensor was fail 26 times(replaced),plus overhead. So, double check by computer, everything Ok. But still show flash code 25. I check turbo, no any mod. So, what is normal coolant temperature rang for this engine? And haw I can check water pump on road?

I had a 99 475 cat. I remember it having a 195 degree thermostat. I never had a water pump issue but I would think you would know if it had an issue. You'll probably have a leak or a noisy rotation sound where the bearings seized imo. My radiator sensor went bad when I run coolant low. Those cat motors are hard to burn up. All that junk to prevent major breakdowns is overkill in my opinion. Good luck.

Hey Guys! I'm in Pete dealer now, mechanic say 215 is ok!!!!! It's true?

Have no clue. I think 5 5 was the all clear code back when I was a big time truck driver. You'll worry yourself senseless if you think something don't sound right all the time. You need to relax and cut corners to make a good living at the owner operating game unless your clearing 4 grand a week or round abouts
