New Pilot in Weed, CA

Weed is cool. but a truck stop makes more sense in Yreka. However, Weed does have that dealership with the rainbow water trucks.

 

Back in the 70's there used to be a really funky (even by 70's standards) truck stop right there with a good little restaurant. That is exactly 250 miles from my house & it's another 250 up to Truck n Travel in Coburg where I would have to switch logbooks.

I seen a picute someone put on a drivers window that was taped to it about not parking in a certain parking lot in Weed, it was on facebook on Ernie's channel I think, can't remember for sure, but it was a long hate letter to the driver of that truck

 

Weed fils up fast every evening. Trucks parked all over the ts as well as side streets.
