Find you a TA truck stop and they can run diagnostics test, each TA has a freightliner shop located in the rear lot. Good luck

The first place I would take it to is a Detroit Deisel shop that is independent of Freightliner.

Take it to a shop. Have them do a cac check, vgt test and erg test. Does the power change if you change fuel filters? Air filters can change your hp huge if they are dirty. Just normal maintenance is major factor in hp and mpg.

That is where I take my Detroit, Freightliner shop can repair any engine a freightliner is running. That is a freightliner factory shop so if it's in a freightliner they can work on it and have the computer system needed, been there several times with my 600 XL

Granted SOME Freightliner shops have good Detroit mechanics, but not all.
Detroit in the other hand, will have ALL good Detroit mechanics, and be much more clued in the more rare problems.

When you pull in they put your truck on their computer system and that computer is hook up to the main frame in Kansas City and KC takes over, You put your truck out of gear and exit it then the computer system starts up your truck and they run 138 check points from KC. They tell local mechanic what the problem is. All service centers at the TA are owned by freightliner and they are able to work on anything that freightliner sells even the V-12 and V-10's. If you own your truck they will set it up factory plus 10% and that does not violate your warrantee. I've taken my T-2000 in twice and the have no problem working on it the same way.

Might just be time for an inframe if it has a lot of miles. Get it dynoed and find out what the blow-by is.

X2 on taking it to a Detroit shop. And honestly, to a T/A? I wouldn't let those guys work on a wheelbarrow.

Wheelbarrow. Bahaaaaa
