I have a 2006 freightliner w a Detroit 60 series14l. Oil return tube from turbo is leaking . Is this a major or complicated job,as in having to remove turbo or other parts to replace it?

You need to loosen the tube at the bottom and pull it out enough to replace the brings on the tube. Its tight and the pipe has a 1.5inch nut on the bottom. Once it's off the orings on the tube will be visible under the turbo. If it leaks after its back together put a little silicone between the orings. That should cure it.

I had mine broke twice from shop replacing turbo they just pulled turbo off the mounting studs while tube was still in adapter on bottom of turbo bent it enough that the o-rings that seal oil off would get all cut up from the tube not straight into the adapter and the top of tube that is machined for o-rings is brazed on had one crack there as well and depending on what truck you may have to remove a oil filter to get to the bottom of the tube , get the kit comes with tube and turbo adapter and o-rings oh you need some patients to ha ha !
