I'm looking for a matching fleet of 3 tractors and I am having a hard time finding anything decent. I don't want a mixed litter due different trucks having different motors and such where on a financial level where one thing on one truck costs more than another truck plus don't want to deal with drivers b***hing about who has the better truck looking truck and so forth. Midroofs or condos are ok since I am taking my outfit on the flatbed side. Matching trailers has turned to be a simple process but finding decent trucks is a different story. Trying to stay under $50-60k each because I don't want brand new but I don't want some raged out p'os either with a ton of miles on them. Preferably Freightliners that are pre DEF. I've been looking for the past few months but haven't really found anything that fits the bill except a set of 3 70" condo Columbia's with 60 series detroits and 13 speeds. Anyone know of some good places online for fleet trucks other than truckpaper and dealership's?

Check Ryder or Penske . You might luck out and find trucks in from a private fleet lease .

why wouldn't you want to look at truckpaper? talk to some flatbed companies and see what they do with their trucks. they might work with you.

Contact Jordan Carriers over in Natchez, MS - good size flatbed outfit that I am pretty sure sells equipment once they are done with it. If you have the financing or cash lined up try one of the auction houses. The one that comes to mind is www.adesarigs.com . The 13 speed requirement is probably going to be what makes this a little harder project but I am sure it can still be done. Hope this helps!

Taylor and Martin often has matching trucks for sale at their auctions. Never been to one of their auctions but it looks decent on paper.

Truckpaper over the past few months has made little change in what they advertise ao I gave up. Used to work for Melton. Never did like the KW's and the FL's they have for sale are garbage automatics which is far more costly than I care to deal with. I'll definitely check out these other links though. Pardon me for sounding picky but not shopping around and jumping on the first thing that comes along could end up being a business killer. From personal experience I did like Meltons headache racks better than some others I have used. I've heard of Adesa. We have one here in town just up the street from the main Tango yard but all they auction is 4 wheelers. Never any heavy trucks. Thanks for the info everyone.
